At Overcome Everything I work with some of the smartest people in the world of Internet marketing, and it’s an honor just to be part of that team. Each of the members of the staff are brilliant in their own ways, but I have to say that Kyle Battis, our marketing and affiliate manager, isn’t just a great guy, he’s really, really smart about marketing and I learn from him every single day. You should check out his stuff: Easy Traffic Steps (with Tellman and Mike Purvis) and My First Teleseminar are two of his products, and both are awesome!
But I’m not writing this to sell you his products (though if you buy them, of course I get some dough).
I’m writing to tell you about this really cool list that Kyle turned me on to. If you’ve been around the IM beat a while, you have undoubtedly heard of Marketing Sherpa, right? It’s an awesome site, so if you haven’t been there and want to learn some really, really cool stuff… go to http://MarketingSherpa.com and check it out.
Anne Holland, one of the founders of Marketing Sherpa, created another cool site and the list I mentioned above… continue reading »
Wow… If you’ve never been involved in a mega-Internet marketing launch, let me tell you, it’s exhausting! All of us at Overcome Everything have been putting in 150% for weeks, trying to make sure that everything is done on time when the big doors open.
And let me tell you, this is going to be incredible! Nobody will believe what Shawn & Tellman are about to give away. I don’t believe it myself, but the orders have already started coming in with only one one-hour teleseminar. People are amazed! And like 50% of them on that call signed up for the offer without thinking. Smart people.
I just finished preparing the contents of the offer. Getting it all created properly, setting up physical fulfillment, making sure that folks get this incredible product. Plus, we just set up a brand new ListBuilding Club. It’s much better organized. There’s a lot more opportunity for members to interact with us and each other, and it just rocks out loud! So, I’ve been busy getting all of the old stuff in there and making sure that everything works.
And to boot, we just got off a two-day 9-hour call, where we helped hundreds of people get their squeeze pages up and running. Go over to http://ListBuidling.com/news and check it out! There are hundreds of awesome comments and people just loved it. I was honored to have been part of that whole thing. Helping folks is really what we’re all about and I can’t tell you how rewarding that is.
But that was only me!
Our marketing and affiliate manager, Kyle Battis, has been gathering the affiliates and making sure that all the stuff that needs to be out there is done the right way.
Our copywriters, Josh Burns and Jodi Meehan, have been working ’round the clock to come up with some really rockin’ words to make it all sell.
And our tech team—Mike Purvis, Jim Morrison, and Victor Grosser–have been in there making sure that everything hooks up the right way and that no links to the myriad sales pages are broken.
The client support staff of Donna Farrar and Yolanda Martinez are ready to help anyone who needs it. And Lindsey Meehan is amazing at keeping all the money coming and going in the right directions.
And there’s Sarah Knudson. She’s our human resources specialist now, but well… Sarah just jumps in and helps wherever she’s needed. Danny Frank should get an award for being so cool in the face of Tellman. He just does whatever he needs to do, never complains and keeps Tellman’s day running smoothly. It just confounds me.
Lest I forget, there’s Jim Giller, our COO. He’s been buttoning stuff down and keeping us all on track, and Tellman? He’s been running. And running. And running. And our meetings are all conducted while we hear the slap, slap of the marathoner’s feet. He’s just a-frickin’ amazing. And Shawn Casey, too. He’s been organizing the whens and wherefores and we’re just all cranking like a well-oiled machine. Granted, a very tired well-oiled machine, but it’s really exciting!
So, you see… When a big launch like this begins, there are scads of folks involved, making it all work. It’s not a one-person or even a two-person show. It’s a team effort. I love being part of this team, and you will love being part of Overcome Everything. Come and join us at the ListBuilding Club. You’re totally going to love having us in your corner.
Have you ever held a teleseminar? No? Well… What ARE you waiting for?
Listen, I was a little nervous myself at first. Setting it all up, figuring out what to ask my interview subjects, and getting everything done in time and right was just a tad daunting. And then, the night of the call, knowing I would be talking to someone that was way more the “guru” than me was enough to make me freak.
But I didn’t.
I kept it all together.
And it all worked! Oh sure, the first time, there was a mistake or two, but so what? I learned how to do it and nobody really noticed but me.
And so, I did it again and again and again, and guess what? Now, I LOVE to do teleseminars! They’re really fun from either side of the mic. Sure, sure. Overcome Everything really broke me in with this. I do calls for my job at least 7 times a month. But I’m happy and excited to say that I’m speaking more than holding the calls on my own these days. And every time I have the ability to talk to people on a call, me & my partner make money. It rocks!
The reason we make money is because people know me now. They’re excited about what I have to tell them whenever I do a call. They trust my information and understand that I really know my shizzle.
But it started with that first, scary call. Getting past that one is the key. Once you do that, you’ll see it’s not that difficult. At least, not as difficult as you may be building it up in your mind to be. Stop shooting yourself in the foot!
You want to make it really easy? Well…
My friend and co-worker, Kyle Battis, who’s the Affiliate and Marketing Manager at Overcome Everything has come up with a pretty sweet course for planning and carrying out teleseminars called “My First Teleseminar.” I’m not going to tell you what’s inside. I’m going to provide a gift. Get over to My First Teleseminar by clicking the link and pick up Kyle’s free CD. That’s right… a free CD that will give you a really valuable tip, even if you’re an old hand at marketing, the tip will give you an edge.
Don’t waste time, though. He’s only giving 500 of the CDs away. We did a teleseminar together for ListBuilding Club Affiliates this morning and he told folks about it there, so I’m sure there’s way less than 500 now.
Just a heads up about a really sweet freebie. You’ll love it.
I’ve been at this business for almost 6 years now, and have accumulated a ton of useful knowledge. I’m grateful for that, and just absolutely LOVE learning stuff — new stuff all the time. And I’m very lucky because working for Overcome Everything gets me lots of cool info that I couldn’t afford myself. It’s really a super perk of the job.
So, with all this stuff in my brain, I’m asked to do teleseminars often. I love that! Teleseminars are absolutely the best way to get people interested in who you are and what you know that can help them to move their businesses forward. You gain their respect, trust, and because of those things, you make money. People buy from people they know and trust.
The best of all situations, of course, if having your own teleseminar series. Here’s a link for you: http://easyseotricks.com/13th . I can attest to the fact that this system works, and that it gives you a MUCH bigger list than the one you have now.
The thing is that you can’t be shy. Shy will NOT work in business. So, get over yourself, right now! Anyone can use the strategies that the link above gives you… anyone.
So, last night, I did a teleseminar with someone who started out as a customer of mine and Telman’s and he quickly became a friend. His name is Rick Burdo, and he’s a disabled Veteran. He can’t even type because of his disability, and so does all of his pages with voice recognition software. It’s amazing! He’s really struggled through a LOT to put his whole system together, and now, he’s actually doing it.
What’s your hurdle?
You don’t have to know everything about your topic. All you have to do is assemble a group of experts who do. Then, you interview them. Simple, right? It’s not that tough getting experts in your niche, either, because they want to sell their stuff to your list and get all the cool respect, trust, etc. from new people that they’ve not met before.
Then, when you put all of the interviews together, you have a product, and… it’s a great product because of all the information that the experts have put forth. It has nothing to do with you or your expertise! It’s how Tellman built a multi-million dollar busines and then, he was able to hire me and 14 other folks! So, now, how enticing are teleseminars, huh?
I’m telling you… they’re the BOMB!
Want to know the particulars? Check this out: http://easyseotricks.com/13th Believe me… it’s amazing what one simple teleseminar series can do for your business and your wallet. Amazing.
OK, so I’m the project manager for The ListBuilding Club and totally love, love, love it. And why wouldn’t I? I’ve helped create it, have maintained it, and work on it 100% of my time for Overcome Everything. I’m prejudiced. But we have hundreds of people, if not thousands who would agree with me.
The site starts at the beginning with picking a niche, getting a domain name, setting up a blog and so on. I mean, it’s step-by-step video training that anyone can follow. It just rocks and we’re constantly working on what we have to offer to make it better and better. We really care that people love it and are able to use what they learn and take it to the bank.
But that’s not why I’m writing here.
I’m writing to tell you about our affiliate program. It’s awesome! I mean, where else can you get $20 – $29 a month from every customer you refer and pays for his or her membership? That keeps on coming! It’s an awesome site to promote, and something you can be proud to represent.
Want to join us?
http://EasySEOTricks.com/AA
Sell 50 memberships to the LBC and then, you can apply to be an affiliate for our high-end coaching programs that bring in MUCH bigger commissions. Show us you know your stuff and you stand to make a great deal of cash!
But here’s a cool thing:
Even if you’re new to this whole affiliate marketing environment, we’re there to help you. Every Friday, we’re putting on training teleseminars that will teach you what you need to know to promote and make money with our system. You’ll love it!
So, sign up now and be part of the team. We’re waiting to help you make the cash you need to get by in these tough times.
Oh wait???? What’s that? I mean, really. If you’re a good affiliate marketer, there is no recession. It’s awesome!
So, I was on a call today for the ListBuilding Club Ferrari Contest with Shawn Casey and he gave some really fantastic information about joint ventures.
His main point was, don’t just contact people to ask them to do something for you… Do something for them first, which is great advice, of course. And he went on to tell listeners everything about joint venturing like how to approach people, how to know if they will be good partners, how to get information about partners, and how to make joint ventures work well. Killer stuff. But then, who didn’t know that, right?
But then, he asked if I had anything to add, and well… how can you possibly improve on Shawn’s advice, right?
But then, I remembered what Tellman told me a long time ago, and that was that all joint ventures don’t include people with bigger lists mailing out for you, though that’s usually what new marketers think that joint venturing is all about.
The other side of that coin is where you joint venture because you need help. Maybe you aren’t a technical person and need help setting things up. Or, maybe you suck at copywriting, while someone else might be killer. I mean, there are so many reasons why you can partner up with people.
As Shawn mentioned today, a joint venture is where two or more people partner in business to achieve a mutual goal.
Sure, ad exchanges are joint ventures, or holding teleseminars for each other is a joint venture, or finding a business where you can help them to improve sales because of something you do better is a joint venture, too. But bonding with other folks to get your launch done is another cool way to JV. Don’t overlook it.

Have you ever held a teleseminar with a JV partner? No? What are you waiting for? I mean, the power of teleseminars is E-normous!
When you get on the phone with a group of people and show expertise in your niche, they’re ready to follow you. They get it that you know your stuff and want to learn from you. They want to join your membership site or just pick your brain, but even before the call begins, people opt into a list to be able to get on the call.
When you hold a teleseminar, you’re getting the benefit of the other person’s list when they send people to your squeeze page to register. When you present on a teleseminar, the other person should be having people register at their own squeeze page and be getting the benefit of your list. So, you’re exchanging list members. You’re both building your list!
I don’t get it why people just don’t think to do this. It’s totally powerful and really important! List Building is all of it. That’s it. There are no magic weapons. Everything you do should be about building your list and a teleseminar is a perfect way to get that to happen for both partners.
Plus, when you sell your JV partners’ stuff on a teleseminar you host, you make money. You get half; they get half, right? When you’re a guest, you get to sell your stuff and they get half of your profits. Everybody wins on these things!
So, what are you waiting for? Find someone whose list is about the same size as yours and just exchange teleseminars. You’ll be so happy with the results.
Had a call last night with Nancy Hults. She grilled me about blogging, and I told her tons of great stuff.
I love to do calls because I can interact with people. We don’t often get to do that. We sit in our offices (actually, mine is a corner of my bedroom, which is pretty big, but still… I digress.) and we type away or code away or video away or whatever. And NOBODY is there to connect with.
Anyway, I spilled my guts–again. If you enjoyed the call I did with Erik Stafford last month, this one may be even better. I encourage you to go and listen to the replay:
The replay details…
Bridgeline: 712-432-6190
Passcode: 58643#
recording code: 114#
You won’t regret listening. If you’re interested in ways to make your blog better, in ways to make it profitable, and ways to make it search engine friendly, grab a pen and some paper and dial in.
And enjoy!
There’s a pretty cool offer at the end of the call, too. Worth $100 to you. So… check it out.
If you’re an affiliate marketer or if you have your own product to sell, teleseminars are great! They help build your list and make you more money than if you just send plain emails.
Why?
Because they “showcase” the product, the product owner, or you. People tend to trust people they know, rather than just words on a page. Right? I mean, I do much better with sales of my product (Blogging4Boomers.com) when I do a teleseminar. People automatically see that I know my stuff, and they feel comfortable asking me questions that I can summon quick and easy answers for. And they get to know me better. I LOVE teleseminars.
You should, too.
They’re very easy to set up with a great tool called “InstantTeleseminar.Com.” I just tell the software when I want to have the teleseminar, add some customized options, and BOOM! It’s ready to go. The best feature is that people can listen on the Web as well as on the telephone, which saves big charges for people in Asia and Europe. Skype is pretty awesome, but some folks don’t like to tie up their phone. That’s cool with InstantTeleseminar
Anyway, if you want to get people interested in a product, there’s no better way to do it than by having a teleseminar. Well… except live on-stage, maybe. But in lieu of that, teleseminars are awesome.
